PALENCIA A STRATEGIC LOCATION
The province of Palencia enjoys a privileged geographical location in the north-central area of the Iberian Peninsula: a strategically important position in terms of traffic in the nor-thern half of the peninsula and its connections to Portugal and the rest of Europe via France. This location, and the role of the province in the Atlantic Corridor, which crosses the continent from Portugal to Sweden and enjoys significant European backing, offers significant development prospects in the medium term. It should also be remembered that this corridor is used by more than 50% of the traffic between the Iberian Peninsula and Europe.
